This Is Out of the Blue

Kasongan's Blue Lake
Katingan Regency

Well, a couple days ago, me and my homies went to Blue Lake (Danau Biru), it is located at Kasongan, Katingan Regency, Central Borneo Province. I assumed it's untouchable from public yet. It took a 2-hour trip by motorcycle from the province's capital city. The street was flawless. We took a tour at the afternoon about 2 pm and it came rain.

After we arrived at the spot, we just literally built up our wonderful camp. Yes, a camp. We considered to take it as a 1-day-1-night tour. We made bonfire. How about the meal? We ate as like as a survival or a boy scout. We cooked rice and sardines with a help of twig. At the night, it came rain again. Well, we just spent the night by playin domino. The atmosphere was actually quite horror. Can you imagine, in the middle of nowhere, only 13 dudes accompanied by mosquitoes, no one else, and dark. Plus, we got a freaky moment when someone went through our camp shoning his flashlight to us. What a night. But that was hella fun.

In the morning, it's swimming time! We did swimming competition and somersault contest. The lake was quite clean and it's not too deep. The view was very beautiful. And yes, the lake's color is blue. I dunno where the blue color came from. As we asked the people surrounding this lake, it's made from excavation.

All in all, for those of you who wants to stop by here, it's very recommended to you. At least to simply refresh your mind after being busy and stressful with all these world's things. Well, then. Peace out.

*Out of the blue is an informal English idiom that describes an event that occurs unexpectedly, without any warning and preparation
